Making The Switch To Lighting Up The Holidays Efficiently

Let’s look at festive illumination. I am slowly making the transition to LED.
I will always love the traditional “power sucker lights”, but can’t argue with the benefits of LED. The frustrating part of the newer technology, repairing is often not an easy task, if possible at all. Whereas with the old lights, electrical tape, sand paper and a piece of wire could fix most anything.
For this post we are going to assume the LED lights we are using will last, though I doubt my boys will be decorating with the same lights we are using now. There are still a couple sets of lights at Mom’s that still work, ones I used to help Dad put up when I was a kid.

How Much Electricity Do Christmas Lights Use?

I have the hardest time figuring what is the best deal and which sets are best to buy when it comes to LED Christmas lights. Near as I can tell it is actually pretty simple, the bigger the number, the brighter the light. Take a look at the guide to buying that the professionals have offered up.
