Rapid COVID-19 Testing At Two South Shore Locations

Rapid COVID-19 testing is returning to the South Shore.

Testing is taking place at the Shelburne Community Centre at 63 King Street in Shelburne on Thursday, June 17th from noon to 7 p.m. and Friday, June 18th from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

More testing will be happening on Saturday, June 19th and Sunday, June 20th at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 44, located at 14 Union Street in Chester from noon to 7 p.m. on both days .

Testing is available to those who:

  • Are over 16
  • do not have symptoms
  • have not travelled
  • have not visited a potential exposure location
  • have not been in contact with someone who has tested positive

According to Nova Scotia Health those who test negative will receive a text with their result, and those who test positive will be notified and sent for a standard test.

Those experiencing symptoms should call 811 or book a test online.
