Our Athlete of the Week is 13-year-old Norah Oickle from Milton NS Queens county
Sports Organization: South Queens Middle School
South Queens Middle School had awards presentation. Norah was selected as the MVP for 5 sports, received the female athlete of the year, earned SQMS letter Recipient (given to deserving athletes not every year – highest award for student athletes that excel at sports, School life and academics,) and nominated and selected for the NS Athletic Federation Ron O’Flaherty scholar Athlete Award only given out to 4 female athletes in the province , Norah was selected for the Western Region.
As Athlete of the Week, Norah won $50 to Cleve’s Source for Sports in Bridgewater
