The 16th annual Lahave Folk Festival is taking place this weekend.
The music festival, which features all genres of music will take place on Sunday from 2p.m. to 9p.m. at a new location.
Festival Director Darren Arsenault said that this year, the festival will be held at the BernArt Maze in Maitland.
“It’s a fantastic place and it’s just perfect for a festival,” said Arsenault. “There’s plenty of room for social distancing, its a wonderful spot, and make sure you bring your lawn chairs.”
Arsenault explained that the event will feature performers many different performers such as the Hali-cats, Jamie Junger, GameChangers, Darren Arsenault Trio, Hank Middleton & Collage, Dave McPherson and Dylan Cormier.
He adds the event is family friendly and costs $20 per person or is free for kids under 12 years old and dogs are welcome as long as they are on a leash.
