Curling Fans on the South Shore will get to cheer on one of their own at the Home Hardware Curling Pre-Trials.
Liverpool native Jill Brothers has earned a spot competing in her hometown where the Pre-Trials are being held next month.
The Brothers’ rink won five straight must-win games in Ottawa including Sunday’s 8-6 victory over Team Hunkin.
Brothers has had previous success competing in Liverpool where she won the provincial mixed and Scotties events.
The Pre-Trials will take place at Queens Place Emera Center from October 26th to October 31st.
The top two women’s teams will advance to the Roar of Rings in Saskatoon with an Olympic curling berth on the line.
