Hants County man dead after motorcycle crash

A 63-year-old man from Hants County is dead after his motorcycle hit an SUV towing a trailer.

Lunenberg RCMP says the collision happened near the intersection of Forties Road and Barrs Corner Road on Sunday at about 4:45 p.m.

The man died at the scene.

The two people in the SUV were uninjured.

The road was closed for several hours while a collision reconstructionist attended the scene.

The investigation continues from the RCMP, the Nova Scotia medical examiner’s office and the collision reconstructionist.
