Power has been restored to most areas where it was out this morning.
Over 2900 customers lost power in areas throughout areas of Northfield, Newburne, and New Ross due to high winds overnight.
There are still some scattered outages in communities throughout the area, affecting close to 100 customers.
No word on when power will be restored for those still without.
The Town of Lunenburg Electric Utility was also without power this morning, but according to the town’s Facebook page, power was set to be restored at 9:30 a.m..
About 18,000 were without power in Halifax this morning.
