An inmate serving time for second-degree murder and robbery has died behind bars.
William Best died on August 10th while in custody at Dorchester Penitentiary.
Best was convicted of the stabbing death of John Wylie during a home invasion in Cole Harbour, Nova Scotia.
He had been serving an indeterminate sentence since June 2005.
In all cases involving the death of an inmate, an investigation is launched by the Correctional Service of Canada.
