Nova Scotia man wanted for fraud-related offences arrested in Saskatchewan

A man charged with fraud-related offences throughout Nova Scotia was arrested in Saskatchewan.

RCMP say the 43-year-old Middle Sackville man had falsely advertised used vehicles for sale, collected deposits from interested parties, then cut off contact without delivering the vehicle.

The incidents happened between 2019 and 2021 in Mount Pleasant, Digby, Wolfville, Falmouth, Beaver Bank, Middle Sackville and Halifax.

Multiple arrest warrants were issued after he failed to appear in court.

Police arrested him at a Regina home on August 13th and returned him to this province.

Since then, he has appeared in court twice and was remanded into custody.

He’s scheduled to return to court next month.
