A new assistant coach for the Cape Breton Eagles.
In a news release, the Eagles says New Waterford’s Bill McDougall will fill the role.
The 58-year-old has been acting as a special instructor for this year’s training camp at Centre 200.
During his career, McDougall played for the Detroit Red Wings, Edmonton Oilers and Tampa Bay and is a former Calder Cup champion with the Cape Breton Oilers.
He says, “I just wanna raise another banner at Centre 200.”
