RCMP in Yarmouth believe a fire at an apartment building may have been deliberately set.
The call came in just after midnight on August 29 regarding a fire on Kirk Street.
Tenants were evacuated and the fire was contained to one unit.
There were no injuries reported.
Initial investigation indicates that the cause of the fire is suspicious in nature.
The investigation is ongoing, in partnership with the Nova Scotia Office of the Fire Marshal, to determine the cause.
Anyone with information about this fire, or with surveillance video or dashcam footage that could support the investigation, is asked to contacted Yarmouth Town RCMP.
