Lunenburg Tennis Club to get upgrades

Funding for a recreation facility in Lunenburg County.

The Lunenburg Tennis Club is getting a provincial grant of $48,000 to resurface the tennis courts with a rubberized acrylic surface

MLA Susan Corkum-Greek says it will make it safer for all ages to play on.

“We understand the importance sports facilities play in our lives, and improvements like this will help the facility continue to serve residents for years to come.”

The club launched a campaign in 2022 to celebrate its 100-year history with upgrades.

Thanks to fundraising they have added an accessible washroom and improved the lighting.

Resurfacing starts this month.
