Man steals thousands of dollars worth of sports cards

Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a man who stole $5000 worth of sports cards from a store in Cookville.

Police responded to the call about the theft at 10:43 a.m. on March 24.

they say, the man loaded the boxes of cards into a recycling bin and left the store through a fire exit.

He was picked up at the door by an unknown man driving a red or burgundy Honda civic.

He’s described as white, with a tattoo on the right side of his neck, wearing an “Ecko” brand hat and a plaid jacket.

anyone with information is asked to call the Lunenburg district RCMP or crime stoppers.
