Our Athlete of the Week is 8-year-old Sadie Weagle of Liverpool
Sports Organization: Curling
Sadie is a shy girl that doesn’t care for a sports crowd watching her. But with curling all she talks about how she loves it so much how she cannot wait for Mondays and Saturdays come. She can’t wait to see her friends and curl.
Sadie has met a lot of new and old friends and has really come out of her shell.
She always made sure her guardian was right there by her, but with Covid we are not allowed in. So this was a huge step she took to go in with her friends and teachers for a hour each season. We hear about it all week long.
Sadie says she wants to be in curling for a long time.
As Athlete of the Week, Sadie won $50 to Cleve’s Source for Sports in Bridgewater
