The community is showing their support for the family of a 16-year-old boy, who is believed to have been murdered.
A Go Fund Me is circulating online for the family of Devon Marsman with a goal of $25,000- with more than $7,000 already raised.
Marsman went missing in Spryfield in February 2022.
In June of that year, police started treating the investigation as a suspicious disappearance.
The case was added to the province’s Major Crimes Rewards Program with $250,000 for information leading to an arrest and conviction.
Earlier this week, police believe they found remains belonging to Marsman and two men have been charged.
Treyton Alexander Marsman, 26, is facing second-degree murder charges, indignation to human remains and obstructing justice.
A 20-year-old man is also facing obstructing justice charges as well as accessory after the fact.
However, he was a youth at the time, so his name is under a publication ban.
According to the Go-Fund-Me, there will be a celebration of life for Marsman at the end of October.
