Three people seriously injured in Kings-County collision

One person is fighting for their life and two others are seriously injured after a two-vehicle collision in Glenmont.

On Friday evening, at around 6:30 p.m., Kings District RCMP, fire and EHS responded to the collision on Gospel Road.

A Honda Civic was travelling on Baxter’s Harbour Rd. when it collided with a Nissan Rogue at an intersection.

The driver of the Civic, a 20-year-old woman from Kentville, suffered critical injuries and was taken to hospital by paramedics. The passenger of the vehicle, a 24-year-old man from Brooklyn, suffered life-threatening injuries and was airlifted to hospital by LifeFlight.

The 24-year-old driver of the Nissan Rogue, from Sheffeild Mills, suffered serious injuries as well. She was taken to hospital by paramedics.

A collision reconstructionist attended the scene; the investigation is ongoing.

Gospel Rd. was closed for several hours but has since reopened.
