RCMP seeks public’s help finding missing Pictou County woman

A 37-year-old woman from Pictou County has been missing for two weeks.

RCMP said Erika MacLeod was last seen at about 11:30 p.m. on Sept. 18 in South Uniacke, according to a news release.

Since Sept. 24, police say they’ve been following tips from the public to find her.

On Thursday, police found MacLeod’s car parked near marker 193 of Highway 104 in Kenzieville.

Police describe MacLeod as about 5-foot-4, about 100 lbs, with distinct tattoos on both hands, brown hair and hazel eyes.

She also sometimes goes by Erika MacCormac, according to the release.

She frequently visits Pictou County, Glooscap First Nation in Kings County and the Halifax Regional Municipality, police said.

The RCMP said they hope to talk to people who spoke to MacLeod leading up to her disappearance.

If anyone has any information, they should contact East Hants District RCMP at 902-883-7077 or your local police.
