Ontario Provincial Police are hoping someone will come forward with information about how protected information from Nova Scotia’s mass shooting was leaked to media.
The massacre was the largest mass shooting in recent Canadian history, with 22 lives lost between April 18-19, 2020.
Recordings of emergency calls made to 911 during the killers rampage, photos and video were leaked to Frank Magazine, with calls published in June 2021.
The OPP’s Criminal Investigation Branch has been independently investigating that leak.
Now, they’re calling on the public to share what they know by contacting their dedicated tip line at 1-844-677-9401 or by email at opp.arb.tips@opp.ca.
The OPP is also welcoming anonymous tips, made through Crime Stoppers phone line (1-800-222-TIPS) or through an online form.
