A 65-year-old man is dead after a crash between a vehicle and pedestrian on Hwy 125 in North Sydney.
RCMP say it happened Friday night just before 8 p.m. when the pedestrian on the roadway was hit.
The Sydney Mines man was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The driver and passenger of the vehicle did not report physical injuries.
The highway was closed for several hours and a vehicle reconstructionist was on scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
