Another arrest in connection with a murder outside the Halifax Shopping Centre.
Police charged a woman in relation to the homicide of 16-year-old Ahmad Maher Al Marrach that occurred on April 22.
On Wednesday, investigators arrested a 44-year-old woman on allegations she provided false information to investigators and assisted the accused in avoiding arrest.
The woman is scheduled to appear in Halifax provincial court on Friday to face one count of accessory to commit an indictable offence.
Two adults, a 31-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman, were previously charged with one count each of accessory to commit an indictable offence.
Two 16-year-old youths and two 14-year-old youths were previously charged with one count each of second-degree murder.
The Youth Criminal Justice Act prevents any further identification information from being provided.
The investigation is ongoing. Investigators are asking anyone who has information in relation to the homicide to call police at 902-490-5020.
