The province confirmed zero new COVID-19 cases on Saturday.
That means the provincial total sits at 1,058.
Three individuals are currently in hospital, including two in the ICU.
The QEII Health Sciences Centre microbiology lab completed 763 tests on Friday and is operating 24-hours a day.
Premier Stephen McNeil says with businesses opening back up, it’s very important that we support local.
McNeil went on to say “businesses that are reopening this weekend have done a lot of work to ensure they’re providing a safe environment for their patrons. Please be patient as we all adapt together.”
Nova Scotia has 45,094 negative test results and 999 individuals have now recovered and their cases of COVID-19 are considered resolved.
