DNR issues ban on all fires across Nova Scotia, in place until further notice

Nova Scotia’s Department of Natural Resources and Renewables has issued a ban on setting fires for any reason within 1,000 feet of woods.

The ban includes provincial and private campgrounds along with any fires at residential and commercial properties that fall within the 1,000 feet of wooded areas.

DNR says the ban will be in place until further notice.
