Musicians from Nova Scotia are taking the stage at Scotiabank Centre in Halifax, Friday night in a fundraiser for those affected by the wildfires.
Matt Mays is one of the headliners, and says he wanted to anything he could to help.
“It’s just going to be just a really magical night, so come out and do your part and have a good time with us,” Mays said.
Mays said the evacuation zone went right through where his parents used to live so it hit really close to home.
Joining him Friday will be Classified, Jenn Grant, Joel Paskett Emergency and many others.
