HRP investigating fatal pedestrian vehicle collision

Halifax Regional Police is investigating after a 70-year-old man was hit and killed by a car late last night in Dartmouth.

Officers responded to a pedestrian vehicle collision in the area of Main Street and Hartlen Street at around 11:20 p.m. The victim was transported to hospital and later died as a result of his injuries.

The investigation is ongoing, and police are asking anyone with information or video from the area to call them at 902-490-5020.
