Astor Theatre adds devices for hearing and visually impaired

The Astor Theatre is now better equipped to accommodate patrons with hearing and visual impairments with the addition of new accessibility devices designed to enhance their movie-watching experience.

The box office now has devices that provide individual personal subtitles on a screen and headsets so those visually impaired can hear descriptions.

To use them you simply need to ask a box office staff member when you arrive for the device you need and they should be able to help set you up.

Currently, the devices are just for movies.
