RCMP has charged a valley man with child pornography offences.
This comes after law enforcement searched at a home in Nictaux, August 10, after a social media app notified police child pornography was transmitted on their service.
The 36-year-old suspect was arrested and is facing multiple charges:
He has been charged with Possession of Child Pornography (2 counts), TransmittingChild Pornography (2 counts) and Making Child Pornography (written material). Ciappara was released on conditions and is scheduled to appear in Annapolis Royal Provincial Court on October 23, 2023.
He will appear in court October, 23.
