Zachery Lefave added to provincial Rewards Program after going missing nearly three years ago

The RCMP have added a missing Yarmouth man’s case to the provincial rewards program.

Zachery Lefave was 20 years old when he went missing from Plymouth in Yarmouth County in the early morning hours of January 1, 2021.

He was last seen walking on Highway 334 in Plymouth. He is described as white, five feet nine inches tall, 175 pounds, with blue eyes, brown hair and brown facial hair.

Investigators believe there are people out there who have information that could result in locating Lefave who have not yet spoken to police. If you know something that could lead to the arrest and conviction of the people responsible for Lefave’s disappearance, you could receive up $150,000 through the program.

“We hope by adding this case to the rewards program, we will receive new information that could help provide family members and other loved ones with answers,” said Brad Johns, Attorney General and Minister of Justice in a press release. “Investigators are asking for the public’s help on behalf of the family. I urge anyone with information to please come forward.”

To contact the RCMP with information about Lefave’s disappearance call 1-888-710-9090 or, if you prefer to remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers of Nova Scotia at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
