A 10-year-old child is dead after an ATV accident in the Yarmouth area.
Yarmouth RCMP responded to a missing child report Saturday, August 19th around 11:25pm. The child who was visiting the Canaan area with their family, left a home earlier in the evening for an ATV ride and had not returned.
At 1:30am Sunday, August 20, RCMP found the child, who was from Coldbrook, dead.
RCMP say the ATV the child was driving was found in a ditch along Plymouth Gentian Road in Gavelton.
The investigation is ongoing.
