UPDATED: RCMP arrest man wanted for Lunenburg County homicide

The RCMP have arrested the man who they believe murdered someone in Lunenburg County last month.

At around 2:45 p.m., on July 26th, Lunenburg District RCMP responded to a report of human remains found in Parkdale, near New Ross. Investigators have since determined that the remains belonged to a man and the death has been ruled a homicide.

40-year-old Blockhouse man Arthur Abdul Mosher was arrested this afternoon in Gold River after police issued a province-wide arrest warrant for him earlier this morning.

He’s being held in custody over night and will appear in Bridgewater provincial court tomorrow.
