Province says Lee didn’t impact flood repairs

Lee didn’t cause severe damage in Nova Scotia.

However, Public Works Minister Kim Masland says Rissers Beach was hit hard.

The post-tropical storm didn’t interfere in the cleanup from flooding in July.

Masland says work is progressing to repair the damage from the summer storm.

“We’re still working on a lot of shoulder repair, and we’ll continue that work until it’s done. I’d say it’s about 95 percent cleaned up,” said Masland.

She says Lee mostly saw trees and rocks on roads.
