Home Heating Rebate now available to Nova Scotians

You might be able to apply for relief on your home heating bill.

The Heating Assistance Rebate Program is now open through the province.

You could get up to $600 through the program.

It’s for families earning up to $75,000, or single-income households up to $55,000, whether you rent or own.

Community Services Minister Colton LeBlanc says the cost of living continues to be a challenge across the country, and this will help more Nova Scotians keep the heat on this winter.

The rebate was temporarily bumped to $1,000 last year.

Applications are available online or at Access Nova Scotia locations.
