Valley high school employee charged with voyeurism

A man has been charged with voyeurism and forcible confinement after an incident at Middleton Regional High School.

Earlier this month, the 52-year old Upper Granville man, who is an employee of the school, allegedly entered the women’s washroom.

A youth inside a stall noticed a ladder being placed outside the stall, then saw the man climb it and look down on her.

The man prevented the victim from leaving due to the placement of the ladder, but another person entered the washroom, and the man left.

He was released on conditions and is due in court in January, he is not allowed to be at the school or contact the victim.

The Annapolis Valley Regional Centre for Education says they’re working with RCMP to support the victim.
