Snow for mainland Nova Scotia

Our first taste of winter today with a Special Weather Statement in effect.

Environment Canada is calling for 5 to 10 cm of snow for mainland Nova Scotia.

There could be lesser amounts along the coast, with some rain.

Environment Canada says the system will spread eastward today before ending this evening.

The forecaster says to be prepared for winter driving conditions and to monitor alerts.
