Man arrested on attempted murder charges after hit and run in Truro

Police have arrested a 30-year-old man from Millbrook First Nation who is facing attempted murder charges, related to a hit and run that allegedly happened in Truro on November 2.

The suspect has also been charged with possession of a stolen vehicle, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, and failing to remain at the scene of an accident.

Investigators believe the act was intentional, and the driver of the vehicle purposely struck the male victim and fled the scene.

The suspect remains in custody and will appear in court today.
