Groundhog Day and Other Superstitions

Friday is Groundhog Day. I don’t put any stock in the superstition that if the rodent sees it’s shadow it means 6 more weeks of winter, because, let’s face it, shadow or no shadow we’re getting six more weeks of winter.

However, it’s a fun thing to do in early February and it’s harmless.

I tried to think of superstitions I believe in, but the only one that made sense to me was that it’s bad luck to walk under a ladder.

That’s just basic common sense. Something could fall on your head.

I don’t worry about things in threes, black cats, or any of those other superstitions.

Do you have any superstitions that you believe in? Are you extra cautious on Friday the 13th?
