Mulroney family requests StFX donations in lieu of flowers

Brian Mulroney’s long legacy as a champion for St. Frances Xavier University in Antigonish, N.S. continues.

Canada’s 18th prime minister – a proud StFX alumnus – died February 29th at age 84 in Florida.

His family is requesting that in lieu of flowers, people consider making a donation to the Brian Mulroney Institute of Government, which was established in 2018.

StFX says, “For nearly 65 years, Mr. Mulroney (Class of ’59) contributed to the Xaverian community in ways great and small.”

A state funeral will be held for Mulroney on March 23rd in Montreal.
