The Charlie’s Pizza South Shore Mustangs lost 8-3 to the Steele Subaru Major Midgets last night in Dartmouth. Aaron Brown, Connor Goodick and Ryan O’Toole scored for the Mustangs while Morgan Kini stopped 31 shots.The Mustangs try and halt a seven game losing skid tonight against Halifax. Puck drop is at 7:30 in Tantallon.
The Halifax Mooseheads and Cape Breton Screaming Eagles square off in the opening game of the Hurley Cup. The Battle of Nova Scotia starts at 7 p.m. in Cape Breton. The two teams will meet again Saturday in Halifax.
