A South Shore team has claimed the Provincial Junior Women’s Curling Championship.

Chester’s Kristen Clarke took the title Friday night with a 13-5 win over Calissa Daly.

The rink, which includes Karlee Burgess, Janique LeBlanc, and Emily Lloyd, completed the Amherst event with seven wins and one loss.

Matthew Manuel of Mayflower took the Junior Men’s crown for a third straight year.

They’ll wear the Nova Scotia colours at the Canadian Junior Curling Championships in Victoria, BC later this month.
