The Nova Scotia Health Mobile Clinic will be back in Bridgewater this Wednesday offering non-urgent medical care.
It will once again be setup at the South Shore Community Health Centre, located on North Street, operating Wednesday evening from 5:30 to 8:30. Receiving will be done in Suite 102 of the building which also houses Lawtons Drugs.
The clinic can only address non-urgent, low-acuity health issues and is not an emergency service. See a list of the types of concerns below if you are not sure where to go.
Types of concerns that may be addressed at the mobile primary care clinic include:
- Prescription refills or renewals (except for controlled substances)
- Minor respiratory symptoms
- Sore throat
- Earaches
- Fever
- Headache
- Rashes
- Minor gastrointestinal concerns (vomiting and diarrhea)
- Cough, flu, or cold symptoms
- Urinary tract infections
- Muscle pain
Anyone planning to go is reminded to bring their provincial health care which is required in order to get treatment.
