Woodworth’s Volts win second QMJHL playoff title

Bridgewater’s Luke Woodworth picked up two assists to help the Voltigeurs to their second Q Playoffs title.

Woodworth is the captain of Drummondville.

The team edged the Baie-Comeau Drakkar 4-3 in Game 4 of the 2024 Gilles-Courteau Trophy Final Tuesday night.

It’s their first title since 2009.

The Voltigeurs now move on to the 2024 Memorial Cup in Saginaw, Michigan.

Their tournament opens May 25th when they take on the Ontario Hockey League Champions.
