The emergency department at Queens General will be closing Saturday afternoon at 1:30.
It won’t reopen until Monday, May 13 at 8:00 a.m., resuming normal hours for the remainder of next week.
During the closure, anyone needing emergency medical care should call 911.
Anyone in need of non-urgent medical care can call 811 to speak with a registered nurse, 24 hours a day.
