‘CAT’ passenger bookings up 18 percent from this time last year

Passenger numbers on the Nova Scotia-to-Maine ferry continue to trend up.

Over 23,000 have booked for travel this year, that’s up over 3,500 from this time in 2023.

Nearly 2,900 passengers have already sailed on the ‘CAT’ this year.

The vessel has completed 13 round trips from Yarmouth to Bar Harbor, Maine.

Bay Ferries president Mark Wilson says there are solid indicators for a strong season, and they’re looking forward to daily service starting later this month.
