25-year-old man dead, 2 injured after crash in N.S.’s south shore

A 25-year-old man from Belliveau’s Cove is dead after a collision in Church Point.

Meteghan RCMP say it happened just after midnight, Saturday, on Patrice Rd when a dirt bike crashed into a truck that was exiting a side road.

A bystander performed CPR to the man on the dirt bike, but when emergency crews arrived, he was pronunced dead at the scene.

The 17-year-old driver of the truck and the passenger, a 21-year-old man, both from Church Point, were hurt and taken to hospital.

The road was closed for several hours, the investigation is ongoing.
