Smoke to be visible in Shelburne due to highway work

The Shelburne Fire Department is giving a heads up on potential smoke from road work in the area.

It’s from a paving plant working on Highway 103 near Exit 27.

In a post on Facebook, the department says there will be a visible plume of smoke in the surrounding area for about two weeks.

They want you to be aware of the situation to avoid unnecessary emergency calls.
