Mitton, Black highlight N.S. contingent in Paris

Ten athletes from Nova Scotia are in Paris for the Olympic Summer games.

Sarah Mitton from just outside Liverpool might be our province’s best hope for a gold.

She won silver in shotput during last year’s world championships, as she heads to her second Summer games.

Four-time Olympian Ellie Black of Halifax will look to win a medal for the first time in gymnastics.

Chester sisters Antonia and Georgia Lewin-LaFrance will compete in sailing.

Wyatt Sanford of Kennetcook is competing in boxing.

Sydney Pickrem is in swimming, Sloan MacKenzie, Michelle Russell and Connor Fitzpatrick are all in canoe/kayak events.
