Lunenburg’s Walter Flower is on the radar of NHL scouts.
The 17 year-old defenceman for the Halifax Mooseheads is ranked 126th by NHL Central Scouting’s midterm rankings for North American skaters.
Flower has missed a significant amount of games this season due to a knee injury.
However, he’s regained his form on the blueline and his ranking makes him a potential NHL fifth round draft choice.
Flower has seven points in 25 games this season.
Mooseheads star forward Nico Hischier of Switzerland has climbed to second in the rankings.
Hischier has 31 goals and 32 assists as a 17 year-old rookie in the QMJHL.
