The South Shore Lumberjacks dropped a 5-4 overtime decision to the Truro Bearcats. Cody Grant, Tristan d’Entremont, Josh Jones and Christian Tsukamoto scored for the Lumberjacks.
The O’Regan’s Subaru Western Hurricanes got by the Novas in Antigonish last night 4-3 in a shootout. Lawson Cook, Cole Spidle and Brendan Amiro scored in regulation for the Hurricanes, who are back on the ice today at 12:30 to play the Landworks Gulls in St. Margaret’s Bay.
The Charlie’s Pizza South Shore Mustangs suffered a tough loss in Cape Breton. The Tradesmen earned their first win of the regular season through 31 games with a 3-2 shootout victory over the Mustangs. Aaron Brown scored both goals for the Mustangs. The two teams square off again at noon today in Cape Breton.
The Liverpool Privateers lost 3-2 last night to the Cole Harbour Colts. Gavyn Connell-Helle and Morgan d’Entremont scored for Liverpool. The two teams meet again next Friday night in Cole Harbour.
