Woman dies in Highway 101 crash

A 34-year-old woman is dead after a single-vehicle crash in Kings County.

It happened Sunday afternoon on Highway 101 near Coldbrook.

The woman from Dartmouth was a passenger, she was ejected from the vehicle after it left the road.

She was pronounced dead in the hospital.

The driver, a 39-year-old Dartmouth man had minor injuries.

The highway was closed for several hours, RCMP say the investigation is ongoing.
