Halifax is getting four national university championships.
U SPORTS says it marks a new chapter for university sports in Canada.
Scotiabank Centre will be backdrop for all the tournaments.
First up, the 2026 University Cup hosted by St. Mary’s.
Acadia will host the Women’s basketball Final 8 in 2027, the men’s tournament will be hosted by Dalhousie.
Finally, STFX will play host to the 2028 Women’s Hockey championship, marking the first time the event has been held in Nova Scotia.
