N.S. still waiting for fall vaccine delivery

You’ll have to wait a bit longer to get vaccinated this fall.

The province says flu and COVID vaccines have still not arrived.

Health Minister Michelle Thompson gave an update after cabinet Thursday.

“Health Canada has to go through some approvals, and we are waiting for our allocation of vaccinations. I want to reassure people that the work is happening behind the scenes, and that this is the last piece,” said Thompson.

Thompson encourages people to stay home if they’re feeling unwell, regardless of what virus you have.

Rapid COVID tests are available at some MLA offices and libraries.
